We’re delighted to announce that the Woodland Hide reopens this December, offering photographers the chance to capture stunning images of woodland birds and mammals in a calm, natural environment.
 

Set within our 1,500-acre organic Wiltshire farm, the Woodland Hide has been purpose-built for both professional and amateur photographers seeking close, authentic encounters with wildlife.

A highlight of the hide is its 16-foot elevated reflection pool, perfectly aligned with the hide windows to create beautifully mirrored compositions and dynamic feeding activity at eye level - ideal for capturing those magical, detailed shots that bring wildlife photography to life.
 

When you book the Woodland Hide, you reserve the entire hide for your session. There are three comfortable seats, meaning you’re welcome to bring friends, family members, or fellow photographers along to share the experience. Each booking secures exclusive use of the hide for the full day, ensuring peace, flexibility, and the best chance of those truly special moments.

Typical visitors to the hide include a rich variety of woodland species such as:

Great spotted woodpecker, Nuthatch, Jay, Long-tailed tit, Blue tit and great tit, Robin, Wren, Goldfinch and greenfinch, Pheasant, Roe deer and other woodland mammals

Please note: as with all wild settings, sightings vary from day to day - the species listed above are possible encounters, not guaranteed appearances.

Sessions are limited to ensure a peaceful, focused experience, with optional guidance available for photographers looking to refine their setup, lighting, or fieldcraft.
