About the event
A four-hour, small-group wildlife photography session at Eastbrook Farm, Bishopstone, near Swindon in Wiltshire. Saturday 6 February 2027, 9am to 1pm. £75 per person, maximum six photographers.
What happens
You spend the whole session outdoors with photographer James Andrews, walking the farm's hedgerows, woodland edges and open downland. The route is chosen on the day from recent wildlife activity and the weather. James helps with camera settings, fieldcraft and composition as you shoot.
What you might photograph
Winter strips the hedgerows bare, so birds and deer are easier to find, and the low light lasts all morning. Regular sightings on the 1,500-acre organic farm include red kite, buzzard, kestrel, yellowhammer, corn bunting, hare and roe deer. This is wild wildlife, so sightings vary from day to day.
