About the event
A four-hour, small-group wildlife photography session at Eastbrook Farm, Bishopstone, near Swindon in Wiltshire. Saturday 11 September 2027, 8am to 12pm. £75 per person, maximum six photographers.
What happens
You spend the whole session outdoors with photographer James Andrews, walking the farm's hedgerows, woodland edges and open downland. The route is chosen on the day from recent wildlife activity and the weather. James helps with camera settings, fieldcraft and composition as you shoot.
What you might photograph
Early autumn brings low golden light, deer in the open and flocks of farmland birds gathering. Regular sightings on the 1,500-acre organic farm include red kite, buzzard, kestrel, yellowhammer, corn bunting, hare and roe deer. This is wild wildlife, so sightings vary from day to day.
